Since the industrial revolution factories and cities have been increasingly separated. A balanced view at the inputs and outputs of the factory provides opportunities for integration of factories with the urban areas. The building is designed parametrically from the urban scale, up to the micro structures of the roof and furniture.
When zooming in, the focus of the project is on automated production. Structural components are produced by steel printing on steel surfaces by using robotic arms.
